I have an 8 month old granddaughter and an silky terrier that use my back yard. So I decided to use my front yard as my garden area.This is my second summer in my house so things aren't exactly the way I want them but this is what I have so far-

1 of 5: This is what the front of my house looked like when I first bought the house!

2 of 5: I had the bushed removed and it looks so much better and now I can get to the windows to changed the screens!

3 of 5: This is what the yard looks like now - I am in the process of ripping out all the grass to put in a herb,vegie and flower garden.

4 of 5: This is the area between the sidewalk and the driveway - lot of herbs, some vegies and flowers! Can't wait until everything starts to fill in.

5 of 5: Some Potentilla bushs at the end of my property.
